Sabsama Shitsukeno Jikandesu
The cover was full of red flags, but the story itself was nothing like that️ The sex was always CONSENSUAL, and the typical "big macho seme x small pathetic uke"- trope was non-existent (luckily). Can't wait to see how Sota and Kyoya's story turns out like.
Zetsubou ni Nake
I’m glad I read this, it’s not your typical “oh I fell in love with my rapist”. The story and the characters are much more complex than it would seem from looking at the cover.
Change World
A sequel to Sayonara Game, which deals with the mc's relationship (now confirmed), and its problems realistically. Includes plenty of comedy. The sex scenes were believable and both sides clearly wanted it, so no rape scenes or vague consent. Would totally read again.
Love Nest (Minaduki Yuu)
A continuation to Sayonara Game and Change World. Remember Masato/Hozumi? (They are same person) The annoying guy who messed with Arimura and Itou's relationship? This story is about him. Masato has a deep wound inside him, that was caused by the guy he fell in love with his senior in University. The guy was straight and used Masato to relieve his sexual needs.He ended their relationship by literally RAPING him, and saying that he was going to marry some woman. Masato ended up struggling with unrequited feelings for a LONG time, which contributed to his earlier bitterness for couples. Now, through Love Nest, we see Hozumi’s deeper side and come to understand the reasons for his horrible actions, and initially love him. The story begins with Masato seeking peace and quiet, from the noisy children upstairs. Luckily his friend Naru has an unused second home, which he offers to Masato. However, after moving there, Masato finds out that he has a roommate: Asahi. A gruff, untidy older man and a divorced hetero. (Plot twist: Turns out that Masato messed with Hozumi's little brother's gay relationship some years ago. He ofc gets bad karma for it, but luckily everything is resolved and they end up together. (Chapter 12: Naru you f*cker, why did you kiss him??!!!) + Awesome sex- and comedy scenes️
Boku wa Kimi to Koi ga Shitai
Souta (blond, uke) always dreamed of being the hero who saves the heroine. One day on a crowded train, an older man gropes him. He's rescued by a stranger, Sakuma (seme), who then transfers to his school. Having lost his father, Sakuma woved to help others, but his popularity led to endless confessions from girls he couldn't accept. To avoid misunderstandings, he stopped being nice. Souta falls for Sakuma but hesitates to confess, fearing rejection and hurting Sakuma. Luckily, their love is mutual, and they end up together—though the story wraps up too quickly, I'm gla we got extra chapters. ️
Replay (Tsukahara saki)
Two boys fell in love while participating in the school's baseball club. The uke (blond) is super energetic and positive, and eventually falls hard for his best friend (seme). The sex was okay, but kinda boring. There was always clear consent tho.
