I recommend you to read the first 7 volumes before watching the anime. After doing the opposite, I was super confused. It turns out that the anime team re-made some of the scenes and switched their order. Therefore the original storyline was super confusing. Could be because I watched the anime first. Anyways, "Hitorijime my hero" is one of the best yaoi manga's out there, chance my opinion – Sex scenes: Vol.11 Cp. Vol.12 Cp.58 K. Ch.16

Made me cry and laugh so many times... Without a doubt one of the best omegaverse yaoi's I've ever read And it's sill ongoing

The cover pic gave off a toxic vibe, but luckily that wasn't the case. This story sirculates around two 30 yo. men, that are both having trouble with their business. After some drunken first- meeting with each other, the seme (blonde) decides to help the uke to save his shop from bankrupsy. Aaaand that's how they start to slowly but surely fall in love️ I loved how the author did the shop saving super realistically, like... I took notes reading this I had no idea that having a tailored suit could be so interesting. As a student, the idea of having such things done to myself sounded absurd. The presumption that only rich people had their suits made specifically for themself, was wrong. This was worth reading! + The sex was realistic, healthy an full of consent

The manga follows the journey of three childhood friends: Yuuto (blue hair), Makoto (blonde), and Rei (brunette). Each character brings their own unique flavor to the mix, from Yuuto's reserved nature to Makoto's confident swagger and Rei's mysterious allure. First off, the artwork is undeniably gorgeous. And can we all agree that the leads are super hot? I mean, come on, those character designs are chef's kiss! But here's the thing – while the eye candy is definitely a highlight, the story itself can sometimes feel a bit... lacking or even predictable. Sure, it hits all the familiar beats of a classic BL romance, but it doesn't offer much in terms of originality or depth. It's a fun, easy read with enough drama and romance to keep you hooked. Plus, the artwork is seriously drool-worthy – did I mention how hot the characters are? So, is it worth reading? Well, if you're in it for the steamy romance and stunning visuals, then absolutely! But if you're looking for something groundbreaking or thought-provoking, you might want to manage your expectations a bit.

The sex scenes weren't as good as I'd hoped for, because they missed the preparations and the mood, and showed only the penetration and aftercare. As a scout group leader, this story helped me understand the importance of teamwork, and that you should always push to do your best. I can't explain it properly, just wanted to write to my future self that may be thinking of re-reading this to know, why I liked it in the first place.

I have yet to finish the translated novel series vol.5, so as to prolong the inevitable ending of mdzs, I decided to start the manhua. Although the translation is sometimes lacking and in need of a grammar check, I'm glad to see it's almost completed! (3.10.2023)
