I recommend you to read the first 7 volumes before watching the anime. After doing the opposite, I was super confused. It turns out that the anime team re-made some of the scenes and switched their order. Therefore the original storyline was super confusing. Could be because I watched the anime first. Anyways, "Hitorijime my hero" is one of the best yaoi manga's out there, chance my opinion – Sex scenes: Vol.11 Cp. Vol.12 Cp.58
