Oh! My Assistant Webtoon
First thing I wanna mention, the epilogue was drawn the same day some years ago as I finished reading this story (December 28th), what a coincidence. Starting off I wanna mention Muyeong, I didn't really like his character very much, I think I only started liking him a little bit towards the end of the story (chapters 37-44), the reason is because I didn't like how "problematic" he was, he just caused problems outta nowhere, he made extremely wild assumptions and I get that it was bc he's insecure and with trauma, but he caused great trouble and pain to Seonho, which makes me like him even less bc Seonho is my fav character. Also I didn't like how he was sleeping around w random ppl, but mostly bc I don't get the concept of having sex with strangers or "one night stands", plus he lied to Seonho multiple times earlier in the story, which gives me more reason to dislike him. However, he did stop being annoying towards the end and he made Seonho happy so I guess I'll forgive him, and also maybe I started to like him a tiny bit. And about Seonho, he is the best person ever fr, he was lovely, attentive, loyal, brave, and he was so nice all the time (except w Junseok obviously, but I would do the same). By far my favourite character, he never blamed Muyeong whenever he would quit his job as an assistant for literally the dumbest reasons ever, and he was always super understanding of him. I understand completely why he would get mad when Muyeong literally canceled their vacation, if someone ever dropped me for their friend for the 40th time I would also get mad. I felt bad when he got insecure bc he normally was so confident :( (this damn ass Muyeong), I also understand why he would feel kinda bad for feeling like that, ofc we have to understand that Muyeong's friend was going through a tough situation, but I think Junseok's way of handling it was very wrong and if Muyeong had stablished boundaries it wouldn't have happened. About other characters, Junseok was very annoying with his obsession w Muyeong, I didn't like him at all fr, however, Juseok's gf was the best, she had me laughing my ass off and giggling fr, I'm glad she didn't mean any harm for Junseok, she was accepting of him being "gay" (she thought he was dating Muyeong lol) and was a gentle soul who only wanted to get out of the arranged marriage to date her boyfriend. We also had the pd, who was also extremely funny (she made 50 percent of the comedy in this manga), and the girl assistant on the final chapter, she was hilarious too, I loved how they added her as kind of a representation of the readers. And finally, about the relationship itself, I liked the development, however, I didn't like the extreme amount of misunderstandings there were, mostly all of them caused by Muyeong >:( but I'm glad they actually talked to each other and cleared them up. I kinda understand why Muyeong would act like that, the relationship he had was traumatic after all but I felt like he should've tried other ways to deal with the aftermath of the painful experience. I liked how Seonho didn't have much trouble with admitting and accepting his sexuality, that seemed very brave of him and I'm glad he didn't have any internalized homophobia moments. To end this "review" I wanna point out that I'm glad there wasn't any extreme homophobia moments in the manhwa, I appreciate the author for doing that, even though we live in a non-completely-lgbt-accepting society, I'm glad that Seonho and Muyeong were accepted by people currently close to them, kudos to the author <3. Finally for the rating, I'll give it a solid 8/10
Ring my Bell
I'm so jealous of their relationship I want then to break up /3 hiw dare they be so happy and cute and clingy in a relationship. I expected for Suhee and Chanmi to actually be something at the end of the manhwa but I guess it'll probably be left as it is. I didn't like Mai very much, no reason, and sometimes I didn't like Chungyeon a lot, again, no reason, probably just because they were both extremely stubborn. I don't have anything else to say abt this, I liked everything else, but ig it was a little average, nothing out of the ordinary, but I think that's the manhwas most remarkable trait. I think ir deserves an 8/10
100% Love Gauge/Love Gauge 100%
This was actually way better than I expected, at first I was just gonna quickly read it but then I thought "it only has 7 chapters you're gonna finish it quickly anyway" so I read it normally, and I don't regret it at all because this webtoon might have been the best webtoon I've read in a while. It had everything I like in a story: a nice but unexpected plotwist (adding points for the plotwist's comedic effect), a very cute relationship w barely any drama, the sexiest sex scenes ever, and last but not least, actual romance bc you can't feel it in every story, so I'm glad their love for each other was nicely shown. Also, bc there's not much depth to the characters I cannot actually criticize them, only thing I have to say is they were both so funny and similar, and the fact that they were both Otaku was so hilarious and unexpected, they rlly got me thinking seme was a normal guy ㅋㅋㅋ. In conclusion, I unexpectedly loved it, even though sometimes it gave me a tiny bit of secondhand embarrassment, I'll forgive them bc everything else was so good, so I'll rate it a 9.5/10
Keeper of the Pearl
The amount of angst in this one single work managed to break my heart multiple times, like, the tragic heartbreaking events of their past lives, their unborn baby, Jaemoon's coma, Jiyeon's almost miscarriage, Jiyeon's pain, and there are a few more things, however, I'm glad that they finally had a happy ending and lived happily married, I almost cried out of the hurt/comfort troupe, they made me feel so many feelings. About the "villains" I felt like they were there just to create drama and misunderstandings and I didn't get their intentions at all, also, their stories were just left unfinished, like, what happened w the app on Jiyeon's phone, why did the cousin guy do all the things he did, etc., i just don't get it and I feel like maybe they could've explained it more. Overall, it was a good story but it had a large amount of unnecessary drama, the artstyle wasn't really good at the start, but it got so much better progressively (kudos to the artist), the r18 scenes were very good and lewd (perfect basically), and I loved how much they loved each other despite everything that happened to them, just makes me wanna love someone (and be loved obv), so finally, I'll rate it a 8.8/10
Trap City
It was a nice short webtoon. Maybe it had a little too much conflict but not really, actually, it wasn't as dramatic as I thought it would be, and I also thought it was gonna have more violent scenes and deaths but it didn't. I'm actually really glad that it wasn't extremely violent or dramatic, and I'm also glad that Rex was a respectful young man and never raped the uke, bc rape is a really common element in this type of webtoon. I liked that it had a happy ending I which they raise Noah's younger sis together, it's as if they had a daughter <333. I was sad bc of Rex's past and I'm glad he now gets to live a peaceful and loving life w his bf. Overall, it was a nice short story, and not as aggressive as other gang centered webtoons, which I appreciated, so I'll rate it an 8/10
Bad Friend
I just finished binge reading it and the only thing I can say is that I loved it but maybe it felt too rushed, this is bc of two reasons: one, I binged it and two, its kinda short, but either way it managed to fit a nice amount of plot and sex, I'm impressed. The story was complex and well thought, but the execution wasn't as good imo, it could've been way better if the manhwa was longer. Anyway I liked it a lot good sex good story good characters good plot, but lacking in some aspects, so 9/10 edit: now that they have finished the extras I just wanna add that I love the love they have for each other and I just cannot express it with words, but it makes me feel so happy and warm inside. I love them 10/10
Tell Me You Can Hear It
THE DESPERATE SEME AND THE SHY UKE COMBO IS SO NICE. IT MAKES THE STORY SO INTERESTING NDHAKKABEJRJQNDIFMDKQOANX. Everything is amazing, the characters are amazing, the story is great. I LOVE IT 10/10
Hello Again (Cho Bom)
I FUCKING READ THIS WITHOUT REALISING ITS THE SAME HEEMIN THAT APPEARS IN THE THIRD ENDING. I WAS JUST LIKE "such an interesting story with a good plot ///^^/// he's so in love with his sunbae" AND I DIDNT REALISE ANYTHING MORE. I actually don't know which one I read first if this one or the third ending, but I really didn't realize. The funniest thing is that when reading the third ending and seeing Heemin talk abt his relationship I was like "there's no way he's dating a girl, i know a gay guy when i see one *.*" but I kinda accepted him as straight for a while, and now they released an extra chapter of the third ending that included Heemin entering a sex shop and running into Yoonseul (seme from TTE) and after that, running into another guy and I was like "that’s totally his bf like look at the way he blushed and got embarrassed" so I proceeded to check the comments to see if anyone else noticed that Heemin was dating a man and not a woman, just to see someone ask if there was a second couple and another person reply saying the second couple was in another webtoon. After that, I checked this webtoon, read the synopsis and immediately realised that I had alrdy read this, but somehow I didn't recognise Heemin. Hufff, what a rollecoaster, now I regret not rating this the moment I read it. Update: I just reread, I mean there are only 3 chapters but I liked it, I remember when I read it the first time I also thought it was great. However, I feel like somehow it's too short to rate? Maybe I'll give it a 9/10 only bc it's too short. Another update: I'm looking from fragments in TTE in which Heemin is included and I think it's really great how the author shares how their relationship is going, and I think it's also amazing how Heemin was the one to encourage Yoonseul and give him advice, he has grown so much *cries*. Their story is a 10/10
Surge Looking For You
I didn't like it... Both characters were too stubborn, Yirim was very very very selfish, he acted very immature and I just didn't like him. Cheonho was a little bit better, but at the start he was a little shit. The baby is cute and everything but I don't think it makes up for all the stubbornness and miscommunication in this story. I'm glad they got together at the end and fixed their shit tho. Either way 6/10
