Hate no Kouya de Vacances wo
Look.... This isn't a five, and I don't know if anything every will be. Three mini stories, but the last one hit home. The first one was a bit uncomfortable because as a kid he always came back to be raised then fall in love with Magnolia, so I don't know if that's... Good. But persoal prejudice aside ;P I'd say it touched me. Story-telling was alright. Everything made sense eventually and I was satisfied, though the ending was bitter-sweet. Second story with the beautiful guy and the guy who's into his own stuff was nice. All were short and I never felt entirely satisfied for the endings, but.... They were good. I really wished that this second one ESPECIALLY has some more added onto it after the beautiful guy was confessed to. Also, more backstory!! Was the mother really like that? What about the dad? How are they going to work together, even? I want to see that. Third was sad. Like, the ending hit me. The android felt right, to be honest and I understood this was the right way it was meant to go. I was upset but the android was the one he was spending time with and loving, so I'm not complaining. The sad reality of being on that planet all alone without a home to go back to anymore... Killed me. It was frightening. But I wish to have really seen their relationsip afterwards, between the two of them, together on that planet. I liked seeing the past. But show me the future, bro. Now, the ending line of that last one... It hit me. I liked the meaning to it and got me thinking about stuff. "My heart's not here anymore." I loved this one. Just felt half-empty because of a lack of depth into the relationships and stories.
Ookami-kun wa kowakunai
A tan bottom, consent, perfect level of furry cuteness, 10/10 recomend reading again. A little bit of nice romance build-up and no issues that were difficult to sit through, so I'm very satisfied.
Suijin no Hanayome
....... Shoulda shown the life with Suijin-sama in the modern world =3= That is LITERALLY IT! T_T
Urusai Kurai no Kokuhaku Kudasai
No smut, just a hot scene at the end. Also, HELLLLAAAA short, but when I found it, I was so goddamn happy that I did T_T I recognized this right away. Pure as fuCK romance. Again, extrEMELY short, but sweet. No real big issue. Not uncomfortable. Short misunderstanding that felt huge to the YP (fair enoughly, though) which was resolved in like... Two pages XD Best sweet thing ever. I want to see more of their life AFTER the confessions, obviously, but it's fine.
My Quiet Best Friend's Just Tongue-Tied
This was... phenomenal XDXDXD Lol, the premise was the most yaoi thing ever, but it was excluding any rape. There was ONE scene which was dodgy, but it wasn't as horrible as it could have been so, yeah. Anyway, simple AF story. YP Uke realises Seme constantly horny and "helps a bro out" *facepalm(¬_¬ )* ANYWAY, it felt fun AF because of the meminess of this and how honestly caring they were (At SOME points) Plus! The tension in this thing was done M A S T E R F U L L Y ! ! ! I'm unsure if the author even knew what they were doing, lol, because it was the gauges that were doing all the work, but none-the-less, the gauge for the best friends added a perfect aspect of constant tension to the story, because we knew it was FULL and it was DANGEROUS, mixed with the fact we knew he was in love with YP and were waiting for it to be revealed, since it was pretty clear. Anyway, this was extremely straight-forward, it was SOOOO fun, but not unique or special in the slightest and I feel like the tension was done accidentally, so that's why it remains a three. But! It was jolly good fun, so nothing wrong with a reread when I want something just with a fun vibe, because that's exactly what this one has. Very good for a good mood, only reread if not looking for quality XD It's not really "funny" at all, or even "yaoi connoiseur" funny, it just had a few moments where I went "Now THAT would make an amaxing meme." But that's it. Fun!
Machigitsune to Hito no Ko
Biiitttchhhh I liked it. But the son of a bitch didn't fuck. Neither of them did the other. Why. This was too short and a little satisfying, but not to the point where I could just forget about the fact the didn't have sex. And they even talked about it in the end. But okay, fine, that's not the main thing XD So what I liked about this was the nice old-is vibe which you got in the house, from the clothes, from the beginning of the book and from the mentioning of the grandfather. Then I liked the couple's dynamic a little. They both looked after each other. The fox said something and regretted it when the guy cried. The guy looked after the fox and the fox looked after the guy. They both were a little childish, so it never felt off when one was playing a tsundere. I like it. Also a moment that had me clutching at my kokoro was when the guy cried how he knew he was being selfish because he could never stay by the fox's side forever (They should have fixed that, I like happy endings T_T) but he still wanted to stay. And yeah. I'm a little sadist, what can I say T_T
The Edge of Memory
YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND MY JOY AND THE SENSATION OF EXCITEMENT, AT THE REALIZATION THAT T H I S M A N G A IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT STRAIGHTFORWARD FLUFF. A simple storyline with the most minute frustration possible. I was overjoyed.
Inner Beauty
Nice emotional connection between characters, after issues had been overcome.
