Came for the Yaoi. Stayed.'s manga / #sequel(1)

Bruh, I loved this. Not only did I consider the way this red strings trope was played out to be unique, I also fucking L O V E this artstyle from the botton of my heart. Plus, I reeeaalllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy like the Uke in this one (Kaoru-Kun) LOOOLLL first time I remember an uke's name XDXDXD (I think) anyway, the story was cute, but with the rIGHT~~~ AMOUNT~~~~~ of FREAKING PASSION/PAIN/BITTERSWEETNESS!!!! W H A T!! I swear, I get that so rarely in romance/yaoi manga T_T But I think I have felt it before! I'm just hooked ;P ANYway~, I really liked the vibe and appearance of the characters, even though the backgrounds and everything felt pretty cliche-yaoi. I honestly loved this sequel, though and the moment I say what the prequel was, I went "OH MY GOD, THATTTT?!?!?! HELL YEAH!!" And not many things are so memorable to me, though it's happened a few times before. Now, though I liked it and felt very in touch with it, I gotta say looking back, there was a lot of cliche yaoi vibes.... a lot. But the relationship developed with a few, short frustrations that were given in a string of annoying situations, but it passed relatively quickly and with a sweet resolution. Plus, there always felt like there was at least the TINIEST bit of progress every time these frustartions were brought up, so my annoyance never grew. It just stayed while the story genuinely proressed, so not bad at all, author, masterfully done I did feel a bit of nervousness when the woman was in the picture though, so no fair, author-san!! >3< But was a lovely story with a trope uniquely carried out, being both the focal point and intertwining DIRECTLY with the romance, causing all the issues, but also remaining a meer plot device. Really interesting, I loved it. I think it's this balance between the red strings and the romance which made this feel so unique to me. Because it wasn't something like a reason for you to find the princess, or a deadline, or anything like that, even while it remained an actual entity within the story. It was DIRECTLY involved with the romance, it was a system, a cause for the issues in this story, their solution and it was just so FLEXIBLE of an idea for plot, that I just loved it. It could really go any way, so I think that was interesting for me to watch, too. Anyway. Imma stop this now, because I don't want to write up a storm anymore, but I definitely recomend this as a re-read, BUT!!! This time, please read the prequel, too ^▽^" Before the sequel. And after that, it'll definitely be a fun read. ^.^ Enjoy!
