Kinda a liiitle dodgy how the seme and uke went at it while the uke was being begged not to push the seme away- but other than that, it's a sweet story about accepting your past traumas and a child bringing two grown-ass men together XD The kid was unexpectedly pleasant in the story, not adorable crowd-fodder, but genuinely essential to the plot and he made the two men's relationship even more meaningful, by adding that extra layer of "Even if it's not just you and me- even if I haven't stolen you- our love is still beautiful" and that was amazing.

This was amazing. There was some unrequited love at the beginning, but done tastefully and I liked how stalkerish the blondie, pining seme was. I liked how the whole time it was an open secret with the readers that the uke does actually love the stalker seme back and just wants to protect him. That was something that was beautifully set up by the opening words thought by the uke, about how he wishes to push away those closest to him. The story's turn into the newcomer who was also pining after the uke (after he'd gotten together with the seme already) was quite sudden, that could have been set up a bit more so that the story flowed from volume 1 smoothly into volume 2, but vol 2 genuinely ruled. The characters were still the exact same people, it ended the story by coming full-circle by also ending it with the uke's innermost thoughts, so well done there. It felt very cohesive, apart from the sudden shift into vol 2. Anyway, got so excited when I saw it had 2 volumes, it looked like a phenomenal story and it was. 5/5, def good for a rr. The relationship was quite sweet.

Okay, so same problem a lot of stories have, which is unsatisfaction. Either through not being long enough or just not hitting a desired point of cohesion and harmony. But I LOVED the dynamic between the seme learning from the uke and apologising for his mistakes the moment he understood them. Also liked the uke for being understanding, supportive, quick to act and move shit forward, and for also being so damn just OKAY with the gay thing. He also confessed at the end despite having treated the Seme and his feelings with respect the whole time. Also the Seme's backstory was quickly revealed and wasn't too shocking, so it felt cohesive with the plot. It would have been better if they'd have done something about the mother in his backstory. If they'd have made it clearer how much his life changed after she treated him like that, to actually connect that history to the character he was shown as now, it would have felt less out of place to have his backstory revealed. Or they could have omitted it at all, tbh, it suddenly just felt like a completely different tone in the story. Wasn't depressing. The relationship had their surprising and possessive moments, which felt sudden, but therefore didn't overtake the whole plot with their tone, I guess. Anyway. Okay for a rr.

Just... Consensual. Slow. They waited for each other. The seme was caring and very worried the day after sex. It was loving. I liked how tentative they were.

Angel Buddy

Complete | Mastergin,Chungnyun | 2019 released

Loved the story. Was the perfect length, sure, but as with all romances, was left wanting at the end, despite the good length of the story, because they didn't show the happily ever after. Just said it would be there. Anyway, loved how, though the Uke was "naive", he wasn't naive in a stupid way. Unlike other Ukes, he was strong and had doubts about the people around him, even if he wished for and believed in the best in them. So that was nice. Also nice how he could kick Angel ass and how no one in the plot expected that (including me, lolol, this bitch had hoes on the brink of death at times XDXD) Seme still had the tendencies to be posessive and a little manipulative, but despite that and my (very mild) frustration, the uke would still see this in the Seme, understand it, and play along anyway, because he found it lowkey, secretly hot (inferring that last bit, but yes, uke did notice Seme's tendencies.) I liked the mother's story, of exchanging her son's life for her own, fighting death for 9 years. I liked how there was the clear view of our Uke withering away into nothingness from his sickness. I liked it a lot. I liked how the Angel Seme was being, very visibly, internally, emotionally wrecked by this sight until the very day he DOES die by suicide. And how he cried after. (Hmm, I really liked how it was, technically, this same Angel Seme who got him to commit suicide. I would have liked that to have been maybe mentioned again and just expanded on JUST A SMIDGE in, like, two or three pannels.) The Deleter angel. We had him also be into the Uke MC, because ppl like triangles. I now see, looking back, I disliked this for all the scenes where it was suggested he was into MC and the stupid tension because of it, because it felt like lowkey cheating, at least, for all those scenes which were before we even knew he wasn't human. But they were very enjoyable after we knew, because then Uke MC didn't take it XD And the flirtation was more open. It felt like there were no secrets in those scenes and the Deleter didn't seem to wanna push himself onto MC at all, regardless of how touchy he might have been XD XD Okay. Now, the first scene for this freaking webtoon made no sense and was a "wtf, why they fucking, who is this man- Wow, that was a view of the future, who WAS that man??? What time was it in, in relevance to where we are NOW in the plot?!??!" moment for me. It was an out of context sex scene, which happens towards the END of the plot... And felt random. Also, the forshadowing from some of what Deleter said was being layed on a bit clumsily. Not only that, but the time travel was not as fascinating as it could have been, as it was too simple, and about that damn time-period where Angel/God boyfriend was gone, after saving Uke's ass... Yeah, it wasn't impactful enough. If the angst could have been brought out more by showing more of his expressions and daily activities which involved MC doing his best to keep himself busy from the feelings, or if they showed more of him remembering him and how he was acting when he WAS (which they did, just... like, as a side-note in a pannel about his friendships, I guess.). Anyway, really fun to read. Loved angel boi. Loved crossdressing scene where Uke dresses as Angel, liked Uke's strength, liked Seme's character arch, liked Uke's family... As well as the time travel XD Anyway. Pretty long, so not a recommended rr. But fun, so not a bad idea for a distant future. Not exacty anything special to me, but it did stick out to me how I cried and sucked up on energy when our boy Angel was getting rightful Karma with Uke dying XDXD
