Hate no Kouya de Vacances wo
Look.... This isn't a five, and I don't know if anything every will be. Three mini stories, but the last one hit home. The first one was a bit uncomfortable because as a kid he always came back to be raised then fall in love with Magnolia, so I don't know if that's... Good. But persoal prejudice aside ;P I'd say it touched me. Story-telling was alright. Everything made sense eventually and I was satisfied, though the ending was bitter-sweet. Second story with the beautiful guy and the guy who's into his own stuff was nice. All were short and I never felt entirely satisfied for the endings, but.... They were good. I really wished that this second one ESPECIALLY has some more added onto it after the beautiful guy was confessed to. Also, more backstory!! Was the mother really like that? What about the dad? How are they going to work together, even? I want to see that. Third was sad. Like, the ending hit me. The android felt right, to be honest and I understood this was the right way it was meant to go. I was upset but the android was the one he was spending time with and loving, so I'm not complaining. The sad reality of being on that planet all alone without a home to go back to anymore... Killed me. It was frightening. But I wish to have really seen their relationsip afterwards, between the two of them, together on that planet. I liked seeing the past. But show me the future, bro. Now, the ending line of that last one... It hit me. I liked the meaning to it and got me thinking about stuff. "My heart's not here anymore." I loved this one. Just felt half-empty because of a lack of depth into the relationships and stories.
Otogi (kuku Hayate)
No smut... I think, at all. But AS USUAL THE STORIES WEREN'T GIVEN ENOUGH TIME TO DEVELOP SAKDLFKL DLKA But anyway.... I LOVED THIS!!! I loved the constant bittersweet, tentative passion in this. I loved the romances and they were all short and sweet. Again, recomend a reread when a little bit more forgotten. But gret for a sitting with tea. Oh! But they do show some fucking scenes. A little on the bestiality side in that last one, but who even cares at this point, it's manga, I should be growing a pair by now XDXDXD
Kami Tori Yawa
Okay, so this was pretty average despite having all of the tags that I like and the reason for that is because a) there was some dodgy fucks going on. Not exactly rapey, but it verged on that a few times. The tropes of dominating seme was too prominent in the mountain-god one, with the tsundere uke making this feel dodgy. b) not a unique feel in the character chemistry and... that's fine usually, but here it just stood out and I don't like that. The slime was a cool characer and I wanted to see way more of him, but whatever. Anyway, pretty mid. It's not a BAD one to look into, but I think you can find others if looking for a reread. This one isn't the most light-hearted but isn't grey at all, either. Just mid. Not bad, tho.
Classic BL Theater
Best humor and bullshit I've seen in a while. Spins on old stories that are seperated into bite-sized chunks that make them to the point and ON the point. Some things are morally questionable... Others straight up vile, though that wasn't too common. But good for me, that I've read enough yaoi in my time that such things don't faze me anymore. My body is young, while my mind is old.
Soine Lovers
They reeaallyyyy should have expanded more on the stoeies, but fine.
Sensuishi To Kurage
The art felt sentimental. The stories were all lacking passionate thrill, which I like, but they were all heartwarming and felt very personal to the characters. Loved it.
