Naked Sword and the Tree Peony of Black
This was amazing. There was some unrequited love at the beginning, but done tastefully and I liked how stalkerish the blondie, pining seme was. I liked how the whole time it was an open secret with the readers that the uke does actually love the stalker seme back and just wants to protect him. That was something that was beautifully set up by the opening words thought by the uke, about how he wishes to push away those closest to him. The story's turn into the newcomer who was also pining after the uke (after he'd gotten together with the seme already) was quite sudden, that could have been set up a bit more so that the story flowed from volume 1 smoothly into volume 2, but vol 2 genuinely ruled. The characters were still the exact same people, it ended the story by coming full-circle by also ending it with the uke's innermost thoughts, so well done there. It felt very cohesive, apart from the sudden shift into vol 2. Anyway, got so excited when I saw it had 2 volumes, it looked like a phenomenal story and it was. 5/5, def good for a rr. The relationship was quite sweet.

Okay, so same problem a lot of stories have, which is unsatisfaction. Either through not being long enough or just not hitting a desired point of cohesion and harmony. But I LOVED the dynamic between the seme learning from the uke and apologising for his mistakes the moment he understood them. Also liked the uke for being understanding, supportive, quick to act and move shit forward, and for also being so damn just OKAY with the gay thing. He also confessed at the end despite having treated the Seme and his feelings with respect the whole time. Also the Seme's backstory was quickly revealed and wasn't too shocking, so it felt cohesive with the plot. It would have been better if they'd have done something about the mother in his backstory. If they'd have made it clearer how much his life changed after she treated him like that, to actually connect that history to the character he was shown as now, it would have felt less out of place to have his backstory revealed. Or they could have omitted it at all, tbh, it suddenly just felt like a completely different tone in the story. Wasn't depressing. The relationship had their surprising and possessive moments, which felt sudden, but therefore didn't overtake the whole plot with their tone, I guess. Anyway. Okay for a rr.
Kiyona Yubisaki, Bukiyona Tsumasaki
Just... Consensual. Slow. They waited for each other. The seme was caring and very worried the day after sex. It was loving. I liked how tentative they were.
Happy End Apartment
Confusing as fuuuuuckkk, bro, but very interesting. Kinda meta.
SUPER NATURAL
They were both into each other, it just took time for one to actually think of confessing. Nice pace. And... I like that there was very little jealousy here. It was used as an innocent plot device to start a conversation about how the two fell in love so, I'm happy with that. Now, the place where the (mild) drama DID come from was.... The way the Seme had the balls to act. He was being a dick, holding back the Uke from working hard... But. I liked that THIS was what was resolved. That this story was about how the Seme learned to control his emotions, haha. It was nice. By the end, he also hoped to always remember to treat those special to him... Special. So... I really REALLY liked the development in the Seme and how simple the story was.
Kokuhaku no Jikan
What the FUCK? It's like HALF of A FUCKING STORY!!! Okay, so, I feel like there was no ending. But. This story fucking slapped. The way it was done. The sudden outbursts from the blondie, showing how difficult it was for the black-haired dude to handle... I liked it. It was emotional and made all the sweeter by how short it was. It felt COMPLETELY different to any other yaoi I read. BUT! After all those outbursts, spending a whole day crying and those concerns of you two never working out... You just decide to live together? Like everything's smooth sailing? No. Fuck off. Completely unbelievable, I wish that was somewhat resolved. Also, again, I saw FUCK ALL of their relationship. Bois, seriously. Anyway. I immediately could tell by the artstyle and everything that this was going to be a unique manga, and it was. But the jarring way it finished was underwhelming and disappointing, hence the rating despite how much I liked it. Fuck you.
Sensuishi To Kurage
The art felt sentimental. The stories were all lacking passionate thrill, which I like, but they were all heartwarming and felt very personal to the characters. Loved it.
