Never Understand
Honestly, first manga I've given a four to. They made the ugly characters look ugly and the handsome characters look handsome, so points for that. It went darker at some points and I honestly couldn't take it, but the way things always resolved was cute. I liked the length of the webtoon and the diversity of the couples, though I wish they'd have gone a bit deeper on the fatso and narcissist couple, they were my fave. But of course, we got attatched to the main couple. The characters weren't entirely... fixed? Sure, people change, but the red-head main couple guy does a full 180 in personality and just shows us a completely different character a l o t. And though that gave him... /Kinda/ depth and "character developmment", I definitely think it could have been done better. But this manga isn't bad at all. Honestly only issue I had with it, that wasn't personal. Personally, I couldn't take a lot of the stuff they were showing about being bullied and the guy's backstories, haha..ha. But other than that, it was honestly awesome! It felt unique! The author had something they were personally exploring (it felt like) and that gave a great vibe! Though the characters felt a little inconsistent... I didn't mind! Because it was the only flaw, which also seemed like just a result of a personal story-telling style. Not a five, because though it was good and definitely hit in me in some nice spots, it didn't "Wow~~ Holy hell~<3" me. It was great for absolutely everything, which is why I gave it what I did, without it hitting exactly home for me. I could see it was honestly good, with just enough gay and fun and solving personal shit to satisfy me, without really giving me a personaly connestion to it. But probably wouldn't re-read it. Unless.... Hey! Future me!!! If you want to re-read, just KEEP IN MIND!!!! EVERYTHING! A L W A Y S!! Turns out FINE!!!! As it does in life ;) Just trust that you'll be fine with this one. And I cannot STRESS how much I love the diversity in the couples and character developments! It was awesome, they're definitely something to look forward to! Good luck, sis!!
I Like You
You know when you read something and things are so awkwardly, ongoingly misunderstood that you feel uncomfortable? Well, yeah. It's a comedy but I can't believe I muscled my way through all of the misunderstandings, even while gritting my teeth XDXD I honestly loved this webtoon. It began by making me feel awkward, then laughing, then having me feel bad for laughing when things take a turn for worse, then finally, a wonderful resolution. Dealt with important topics and turned out heartwarming. rr
Someone else's BL Manhwa
Okay. So they switched the trope of the AGE GAP, RIIIGHT on it's goddamn head! Also, was super unique in how the main character was more of a cause for the side characters to get together and only focused on his own romance in the second half of the plot. MC had character growth in his own arch. The romance was sweet, just took some time to get there. The drama was reeaallyyyy not my thing, but not the most difficult to sit through. Survivable.
Incidentally Living Together
Depressing, so not a rr. But I learned from this. I read it and remembered about my own life, how it's all about just surviving and taking your daily steps. You're fine. It was a nice experience to be able.
Happy End Apartment
Confusing as fuuuuuckkk, bro, but very interesting. Kinda meta.
