Razoku no Hanayome
This was really cute, not gonna lie. However, I didn't expect there to be so much smut - no complaining. I loved when Lodi went to Japan just so he could finally be with Michiru again. Cute, cute, cute. Very different from the plots and concepts I usually read, but I enjoyed it, nevertheless.
Punch Drunk Love
I was actually looking forward to reading this manhwa, but it is a little weird. The MC is way too naïve for my liking and the "obsession" with his coworker is a little much. Said coworker is a little harsh which I don't really mind, but to can be too much, still. The art style is pretty, and the smut is pretty good too with undertones of bdsm.
Thirst
This is story is so good. The plot is interesting and it really keeps the readers intrigued. I will say the ending seemed rushed to me, but I desperately want more of the characters and the plot itself. I didn't think I would enjoy this as much as I did, but I definitely recommend.
Roses and Champagne
I have many mixed feelings about this. The plot and the pacing started out perfectly, and the story has a sense of slow burn that I grew to like quickly. While the characters and the overall progression of the story was done well, the acts of sexual assault was not expected or appreciated---that unfortunately ruined the remainder of the story for me. To end this on a good note, I will say that Lee Won is the coolest character of them all.
Can't Think Straight
This was a rollercoaster. There are so many feelings and conflicts happening in this story, but also so much development and growth. I was sceptical at first, mainly because one of the main characters is homophobic, and while it does get better, it does take a while. This is a slowburn, guys.
The Deepest Confession
Relatively quick read that focuses on unrequited love (but not really). Two people meet again after falling out/going no-contact, and the readers get to see how they navigate their feelings--both good and bad. In the end, they manage to actually communicate and get their happy ending. A lot of alcohol was involved.
Shutline
As such an interesting story with complex characters and relationships. The plot remains interesting and detailed, and the element of suspense keeps the readers on their toes. I love dynamics between all the characters, and the pacing and progression of the plot is great. Would recommend!
Waterside Night
This story is heartbreaking. There are so many awful things and aspects to this story. The characters are extremely complex, filled with flaws and room for improvement, but everything is beautifully written. The story deals with trauma and the rebuilding of relationships so well. It was heartbreaking, but so worth it.
Payback
This story has a very good understanding of guilt, atonement and finding purpose in life. The plot was interesting and the overall development of the story was good. I will say that it felt a little rushed towards the end.
