Shingeki no Kyojin

Complete | ISAYAMA Hajime | 2009 released

I finished this back in April when the last chapter came out, and I still think about it sometimes. This manga is as good as everyone claims it to be. It's not only action-based, but it also puts focus on racism and political differences. I love the questions of "what is the right and what is wrong?" and "who are the bad guys?". This is truly a masterpiece.

Boku no Hero Academia

Ongoing | Horikoshi Kouhei | 2000 released

Action-based manga with an interesting plot. I love the creativity with all the different Quirks, and also all the character growth that happens gradually throughout the series. This is such a great story with such impatful plotlines and characters. Everyone should read this, in my opinion. You go into this thinking you'll read about young people training to be heroes, but that proves to be the mere tip of the iceberg.

Jujutsu Kaisen

Ongoing | Akutami Gege | 2000 released

Extremely interesting plot and concept, but the story gets more and more fucked as it goes on. Highly recommend for those who enjoy great fight scenes. This manga has many likeable characters, though the composition and structure of the story can get confusing at times.

Haikyuu!!

Complete | furudate haruichi | 2011 released

I love each and everyone of the characters equally. There's so much to say, but I feel no words can ever justify the feeling of reading this for the first time. The aspect of growth is something I absolutely love about this story, but also how it focuses on different people and their respective development. Hinata is a great MC, and has proven that no matter what or when you find your passion, it is possible to succeed in doing what you love.

Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Lost Adventures

Complete | bryan konietzko, michael dante dimartino | 2000 released

I really liked reading these short stories after rewatching the series yet again. They were cute, funny and entertaining, and they give more information and depth to the story we already know.

To You, The Immortal

Ongoing | ooima yoshitoki | 2016 released

I started out with the anime not know anything about it, and I must say that I fell in love with Fushi and everything about the plot and the concept. It has many plot twists, and the readers never really know what will happen next. It's so fucking sad, and I've cried my eyes out many times. Some people think being immortal is one of the best things that could ever happen (in terms of superpowers), but this manga really shows how lonely everything gets at some point.
