Plaything
I really liked the historical aspect in this story as well as Ilic's character. I definitely didn't expect all that shameless smut, but I'm not complaining. I really liked the art style as well.
Vinland Saga
This manga is one of the best ones I've ever read. I started out with the anime, and immediately fell in love with the characters, plot and everything in-between. Thorfinn's character development is so beautiful. Going from a young boy who's driven by rage and revenge to a man with understanding and compassion for other people. What can I say? I love this manga with all my heart, especially the small amounts of historical accuracy, which makes it all so much more interesting to read.
Return To The Hidden
What an odd story. I don't have much to say about this, but I do wish it was longer. I wanted more of the plot and characters, and overall more depth to the entire thing, but it is meant to be a short story and nothing more.
Kimetsu no Yaiba
This is such an impactful story. The focus on love, friendship and companionship was amazing. The plot was interesting all the way to the end, and I don't remember reading a story this quickly. I loved the mystical aspect to Sun Breathing and the origins of the Demon Slayer Corps. With that being said, it also broke my heart, but I won't be going into detail about that.
Living Will
This is a short read, and overall very likeable. The relationship between Jeanette and Jeanne is super cute, but the ending made me feel so empty. I do, however, wish that the story was longer so the readers could get to know the characters even more, and just get more details about the plot and Jeanette profession in general + the more of Jeanette's and Jeanne's relationship.
Vagabond
This is an attention-grabbing story with interesting plots and characters. The art style is, perhaps, one of the most beautiful ones I've seen. I'm very excited to see where the story is headed, and how each respective character grows.
Demon Confinement
A waste of my time. The premise seemed interesting, but nothing happens whatsoever. It ended so abruptly that I don't want to believe its actually finished. The art is pretty, but that's all I can say.
Keeper of the Pearl
Reincarnation is the central theme in this story. It was interesting at first, but there are so many sub plots throughout the story, a lot of which don't get explored enough. The characters seems one-dimensional and simple and I really wanted more. Overall, it was fine but very fast paced. The art wasn't for me either.
Taming the Tiger
This story is so beautiful and everything I could ever wish for. The building of the characters' relationship is done in such stunning way. The writing is absolutely majestic, especially with all the season/flower symbolism. The ending and the side story broke me into a million pieces, but that doesn't make this any less perfect. Their love is so tender and warm--a love everyone should strive to have. Beautiful.
