Make Me Bark
This manwha was okay, but to me it lacked depth to the plot and the characters. I wanted things to develop further to get a sense of who these characters are and what their background is like. That didn't happen, which is completely okay because I still had a nice time reading this. It did have a few odd moments, but otherwise it was nice.
Back to School: All Grown Up
A sequel and/or side story to “Back to School”. This was very cute, and felt like the cherry on top. I love that the readers get an insight to characters’ life after five years has passed. It illustrates how time heals wound, though some are deeper than others. I didn’t care for the last side story about Chiwoo and Jihuyn, but I know some people will. It just wasn’t for me as I didn’t even finish it.
Tiger and Tiger Gourd
Very enjoyable and quick. Lovely dynamic between the characters with surprisingly a lot of progression and development, all happening in the span of eight chapters. I really wanted this to be longer in order to see how their relationships will continue to evolve. Would recommend.
Trap Trap
A story about overcoming personal fears and letting go of toxic people that don't want the best for you. I was sceptical at first, but the progression of the story and plot got me hooked. It was very interesting too see how the MC develops and tries to deal with some of his issues, while also having the right support system to help him. Very happy that I read until the end.
Full volume
I loved this very much. The characters' dynamic is so lovely throughout the story. Dowon's devotion to help Beom, while continuously showing his love and determination, is absolutely to die for. Both of them have detailed backstories that tie very well into the people have become. I love how Beom has a support system even though he's convinced that he needs to handle this on his own. At the same time, I love it when Dowon didn't pressure Beom into a relationship or into admitting his feelings.
Roommate 101
This is such a beautiful story about found family and friendship. Each character has their own struggles, and while Biru and Hyuk dislike each other at first, they grow to have a good and strong relationship. This story really emphasises "opposites attract". Even though this isn't BL by any means, I still think it applies. I will say that the plot was a little boring at times, but it was an overall nice experience to read.
Why not, CEO?!
This is a story full of well-known tropes that take up the entirety of the plot. It has good potential, but the plot wasn't interesting to me because of how cliche it was. It did have some cute moments in there, but I wanted to see more development overall. The whole thing ended up feeling boring towards the end.
Countdown to Love
A very cute story about young love. It has a small element of misunderstanding, but it was done surprisingly well. I loved how we see the relationships develop, and I wanted it to be longer. Really cute.
Only Need to Love Once
This is such an impactful story. For those people, including myself, who struggle/struggled to accept themselves and their sexuality, this is for you. This may be a one shot, but it tugs at your heartstrings in a beautiful and painful way. It does contain homophobia and slurs, so please proceed with caution if that triggers you.
