I felt like the author really rushed the ending, though I do appeciapte a bit of closure, there are a lot of things she left open and I wish she could have expanded on, like will Derick find his father? What really happened to the princess? Was that just an empty threat the princess made after being arrested? What about going back to her old world? Did she just give up on her mother? What evidence did Tony’s father have that completely destroyed that long time tradition of fasting? Why was the fasting tradition created in the first place? It felt like that fasting tradition was just a convinient way to get rid of Derick’s father. They didn’t even explain that part. It was just “here are some papers son, good luck rescuing your future wife.” And what was with that “evil” sword? Where did that sword come from? Surely it can’t just exist. Someone had to make it. Was it the temple elder? Was it other antagonists we haven’t seen yet? At this point we’ll never know. Does no one care about Yara now that she has no powers and let her live like a commoner? Is this two goddess thing just a once a century deal or once in the entire universe type of occurrence? Why did Paloma have to die? That was so pointless and she didn’t appear much in the story so I didn’t feel sad when she died. Also I really would have liked if they expanded on the adventures of Tony, Derick, Paloma, and Yara, during their school lives, like a school festival, test of courage, finding something secret below the school, etc. I just wish she expanded their day to day chemistry school life. And I think it would have nice if Derrick put up more of a fight to make Yara fall in love with him, or even better if Derick never fell in love with Yara in the first place and kept Paloma alive so they could be a couple too. On a side note, I wish Tony’s father got more love in the end, he was used by the girl he used to love, his son doesn’t care about him, and now he’s divoriced. The fact that it was just a vampire romance love triangle disguised as a dramatic school slice of life adventure kind of leaves me hanging and disappointed. I appreciate the story but there was so much more that could have been done that would have made this a much more memorable, better story. Instead of being an unforgettable dark adventure, light-hearted vampire romance..This is now just a one time read guilty pleasure with two hot vampire guys isekai that I’m going to forget about and never pick it back up ever again.
