One of the best romance bls I have ever read. Before I get into the story itself, I wanna talk about the genre. So people tag this as "psychological" and "drama" but I disagree. There was no drama in this. Seon and Giran never during the timeline, they only semi-fought in a flashback. This may be picky but when I think of "psychological" I think of the actual genre meaning, which focuses on messed up stories with dark, grim, and fucked up themes that mess with your mind. For example, Killing Stalking. I didn't expect for it to deal with actual psychology like depression. Even then, in the current timeline, neither characters are depressed or have and drama going on. Instead, I would simply call this a romance, or even a slice of life. Now lets move onto characters. As for art style, I fucking love it. Normally the black and white with heavy darkness is associated with dark stories, so I thought there would be some big plot twist, but there wasn't. I was impressed how the art style morphed in my mind from depressing to cozy and comforting. I love the character designs!! I hate stereotypical small skinny short frail shy mega submissive feminine ukes with the cute fluffy bowl cut x tall large buff built arrogant confident mega dominant masculine seems with the businessman side part, and its my favorite thing when the roles are reversed! although Seon is taller and buffer than Giran, he has a super pretty and feminine face with cute fluffy hair! His long eyelashes and plump lips give him a cute submissive look as he pounds Giren lmao. Giran on the other hand looks more masculine and has the iconic businessman hair! His sharp features make him look cool and composed as he's getting his insides rearranged lol. Their personalities is even better! Seonyeon is the definition of obedient puppy seme, which I LOVE! He will do anything for Giran and does everything he says with no hesitation. He loves him to bits and always shows it. He is more quiet but all it takes is a command of conversation for him to perk up! Speaking of the owner x puppy vibe, lets talk about their relationship next! They have quite possibly the best relationship I have ever seen in a yaoi. It is so so so healthy and mutualistic and loving. Power roles are almost non existant because they both treat each other the same way. Both cook, initiate sex, call each other cute, give each other lots of love, and act super mutualistic with each other. It's not like the dom is taking care of the helpless uke or vice versa, they both have a realistic and equal way of caring for each other. I cannot even fully describe how loving they are to each other. Constant kisses and affection, its truly so sweet. I honestly really hope to have a gf or bf like this in the future. Its refreshing to have a realistic relationship! Now for the plot! I like how they both lost their parents and can bond over that loss and depression. It's honestly beautiful how Giran saved Seon from killing himself. The fact that he hated giran so much it kept him alive was oddly romantic. The story had more backstory rather than plot, with the main storyline simply following the development of the relationship. Overall a fantastic read, I would highly recommend!!
