"In the first story, the main character is toxic — bitter about his time in high school, and particularly, toward Natsuo, a 'hoodlum' who seemed to thrive on tormenting him — and his unfortunate target is Natsuo, a simplistic and inept young man with few social graces. It's brilliant set-up: make Natsuo fall in love with him, and then dump him in the most humiliating manner possible. The second story is a spin-off of sabita yoru demo koi wa sasayaku, it's about partner abuse, and what happened to Kan-chan, the abuser, after his relationship was over. At times awkward and fumbling, other times adept and hot as hell, this story is a believable testament to vulnerability and the healing power of love."

Shio, a blogger, meets up with some friends he met online through his blog and also is going to meet Miya, a blogger he hasn't met yet. He is surprised to find out that Miya is a very tall man (everybody thought he was a woman) who has a very calming effect on others. spin-off of sangen tonari no tooi hito

"A father is stressed beyond his capacity to cope while trying to raise his preschool-aged daughter while working in a Japanese restaurant. He is saved by a hopeless flirt and serially unfaithful gay customer who is attracted to him, but he is straight and very suspicious of such a flighty man. The relationship takes time to develop and is full of realistic emotional responses." one of my favs

hojo-san is a bartender who is hit by man a lot and fall in love with one of the customers, haibara, who is a friend of the owner of the bar. haibara confesses to hojo-san but he did not believe him and declare that will make haibara fall for him and this last just go with the flow don't like that kind of uke neither seme, but the story had some enjoyable sides and i'm glad hojo-san get to know his father's true feelings

"Ryo and Nao are childhood friends. Ryo comes from a yazuka family and Nao from a normal one but their mothers are friends so they grew up together. Ryo treasures Nao and loves him openly even if they are both guys, Nao thinks one day they'll just go on different paths and that Ryo should be with a normal girl. Ryo doesn't want to be the next boss and rejects it all the time since he doesn't want Nao to get hurt, but Nao tells him to tie to each other and he becomes the next boss."

"A gorgeous collection of stories by Minezuki Akira: (1) The first story isn't as engaging as the other two. In it, a fast-food manager falls in love at first sight with a proficiency expert sent by the parent company to monitor his shop. (2) A ghost or demon who feeds off of human warmth falls in love with a medicine seller who travels on his mountain during a snowstorm. (3) A sculpture student falls in love with his mentor, an artistic genius who sculpts by touch. The art is so beautiful."

"Asano is gobsmacked when Kakei, a taciturn coworker, suddenly ups and confesses. Asano can't imagine what Kakei sees in him, and so far, it seems that Kakei is wondering the same thing, which makes this a surprisingly funny story."

"It's strange to call a story realistic, when it's about a drop-dead gorgeous male model (Ray) who happens to be straight, and his best friend from school (Shingo), who's so smitten he blurts out that he's gay the minute they introduce themselves to each other. In every other respect, Shingo is completely discreet, keeping even his crush on Ray so quiet, Ray is unlikely to learn of his feelings. What does it take to change a stalemate? As usual, Tenzen Momoko outdoes herself for believable characters, an interesting story and some really funny moments."

The first deals with a young man, Kou, who develops a crush on his gay neighbour, Hiroya, a salary man, and actively engages in helping him sort things out, just as he suspects Hiroya has fallen for his even more capable brother. The last two stories are interconnected school-life yaois, both involving idiot couples."
