My thoughts: Last chapter is serious about how god is maybe trying to teach Satan about love, which he has begun to succeed at since they fell in love with Akira, so now Satan is trapped in a time loop trying to figure out how to accomplish his goal and saving Akira. The other chapters are just funny gags.
