female lead (charlize) in her past life spent the entirety of her being trying to impress her family only to be ignored. in a last ditch effort to finally win them over, she agrees to be “the emperors sword” without thinking twice because she was a talented swordswoman. turns out they wanted to actually turn her into a sword for 400 years, torturing her endlessly for her mana. in a wish one day, she wishes to turn back time and get revenge. she gets her wish and goes back to the day she turns 13. now, she ignores her family and is focused on making the 13th prince the emperor (she became his royal tutor at 15). she is hiding her power from everyone, and he is too.
(chap 11) charlize goes to visit the 13th princes mother, the 7th concubine
(chap 14) visits his mother, on good terms with him. he’s a little more open to asking her things. has constant nightmares about her past & considering entering the sword competition to win the cure to his mother’s illness. ninth prince is taunting her.
(chap 20) challenged the 9th prince to a sword fighting duel for disrespecting the 13th prince. duel was with 9th princes guard. she won. she used the help of fairies to turn her appearance into a boy to compete in the official competition, and recently just tied (purposely tied) with her brother akan. now she is at a festival checking things out and pondering and she sees the 13th prince, who bets 100K gold on her. she’s going to try to win because she wants to get a rare herb to heal 13th princes lol (7th concubine)
