Mademoiselle Butterfly
All-around wonderful manga. The drama part of it was handled so well, seeing their relationship grow slowly and not have it happen in the course of one chapter, the secondary characters were all well-rounded, many things I thought it would end up being the same cliché as everything else and it wasn't so... And boy, I knew there would be shit happening but still, the story had me so involved that I couldn't help but get all teary eyed in those last few chapters. And nothing more refreshing after such a tear-jerker ending than those absolutely adorable shorts about everyone's lives. Great story, great art, definitely recommended, and I'm sure it's gonna be added in my to-reread list.
Sayonara Kodomotachi
Tragically short story, showing the complexity of emotions/frustrations/thoughts that Mika experiences as he deals with his desire to make a little girl happy.
Kuro(tsu) Tenkousei
Two middle-schoolers work for an agency that raises orphaned children to become vigilante assassins. This one could easily be turned into a series, anti-heroes are pretty popular these days.
Shoujo Guard
Plot-wise, I think this story is not as good as most of this mangaka's other stories. It seemed somewhat bland or undecisive, it was more eye-candy than anything else. Both guys and the girl were all really pretty to watch, but didn't seem to create a story that was appealing.
Hana No Miyako De
Heartbreaking story about two friends that care deeply about each other, and the responsibilities they have to fulfill in life. Motoharu and Akira's story is the best lovestory that wasn't. No matter how many times I re-read this, I always end moved to tears. Prequel to Hana No Mizo Shiru, which in turn has a sequel named Hana No Migoro Ni.
Sweet Black
The second story was way too funny for me, Tarou was just too much x)
Love Sick
I really like the premise and the art style, I'm not sure if it's the translation or if for some reason the story and dialogues seemed a bit confusing at times. It wasn't so bad that it ruined the read, heck this one's probably one of those mangas that I'll be re-reading later on...
Penguin Revolution
Wonderful, wonderful story. Very funny with just a bit of drama. I do kind of wish that there was more fulfilled romance, it seems kind of weird that they show the strain and the tension because of it but in the end nothing is resolved. Some other mangas have done the "10 years later" thing, this one didn't seem to pull it off right. I think Kaichou wa Maid-sama did a better job at it. I'd love to read a sequel :D
Faster Than A Kiss
A teacher decides to go out of his way to help out his student and her little brother, changing both their lives and his for the better. Oh man, what can I say.... This one's one of those "completely complete" mangas,. The story leaves nothing feeling lacking, the romance here has the perfect pace nothing feels rushed or boring. OH BOY TEPPEI!! That kid, I can't think of any other ototo that is as perfect as that child. Actually there's a one-shot spin-off about Teppei when he's older, it's cute too :) http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/junes_lily_bravado/ I really wish Sensei made a spin-off series, whether using Teppei as MC when he's older (after that oneshot, hopefully with more "guest appearances" from this couple) or this couple now in their married life, maybe with a new member introduced... Or heck, even using Shouma and Meg-chan living in the States (and tube visiting or being visited by their friends/family in Japan). I just really liked all the characters and don't want to part :P
