Ibara No Majutsushi
Nice story about two friends, who at one point loved medicine, that live in a village that banned it.
Sweet Medicine
Boy with uncertain future spends his school days in the infirmary where he meets a clumsy girl that wants to be a cake baker. Boy's medicine leaves a bitter taste in his mouth, after certain things happened he ended up being the cake taster for this girl with apparently no talent for baking.
Sara No Ue No Kanojo
Seiten Ni Tsurugi Wo Kazase
Really sweet story about a female swordsmith and a man that washed ashore after a stormy night. You can tell that things will do well for them just from his behaviour, but I still kind of wish I could see it happen.
Gold Rush 21
The main story was absolutely wonderful, I really wish there were more chapters, not even trying to advance any of the characters' love lives but just to show how their days are like, I can definitely understand why there are so many TV shows about this unlikely group of people becoming room mates. Second story was kinda nice, I'd give it a 3/5 nothing that particularly stood out, but it wasn't bad either.
Shinomiya-kun no Sekai ga Owatte mo
I really like how "human" the lead characters seemed to act, they both questioned themselves and learned from their surroundings, the girl wasn't this "magic pixie girl" that just came and swept all his problems away, he wasn't a "knight in shining armour" that protected her from any harm, they both had their flaws and desires and problems that they had to face, they felt uncertain and weak, but despite that they kept trying to learn more and overcome it.
Sayonara Kodomotachi
Tragically short story, showing the complexity of emotions/frustrations/thoughts that Mika experiences as he deals with his desire to make a little girl happy.
Penguin Revolution
Wonderful, wonderful story. Very funny with just a bit of drama. I do kind of wish that there was more fulfilled romance, it seems kind of weird that they show the strain and the tension because of it but in the end nothing is resolved. Some other mangas have done the "10 years later" thing, this one didn't seem to pull it off right. I think Kaichou wa Maid-sama did a better job at it. I'd love to read a sequel :D
Detarame Mousouryoku Opera
While having such an amazing story, WHY IN THE WORLD is there not a sequel telling the events for their [possible] future together?? Everything about this story is awesome, the characters, the humour, the fantastical universe, their rationalisation for their form of "magic", the art... everything. //frustrated
