It was a nice story, chapter 9.5 threw me off though, it probably was like the original oneshot and then they reworked the characters for the full-story. I don't think I would've cared much if they had kept it as that chapter had it, so I'm glad they changed things :)

I have a love/hate feeling with this one... I love that it seems to be quite realistic in how people that age behave in those situations, but I hate that it's so realistic that it feels I'm reading about all the annoying mistakes I did in my past and have to "re-live" them through the characters u_u

Kind of cute, they sort of seemed to introduce things that could have been further elaborated. I was SO close to tears when the father introduced himself and he had all those "Protect Kotoko" cheering things, slightly disappointed there wasn't more drama.

Some stories have bittersweet endings, others are more just "open ended".

Really funny, I felt so bad for that first year kid~! Also it was kind of sad that Chris seemed to sort of get downgraded after those repairs :/

I really like how "human" the lead characters seemed to act, they both questioned themselves and learned from their surroundings, the girl wasn't this "magic pixie girl" that just came and swept all his problems away, he wasn't a "knight in shining armour" that protected her from any harm, they both had their flaws and desires and problems that they had to face, they felt uncertain and weak, but despite that they kept trying to learn more and overcome it.

Super-sweet, short story, I wish it continued with what happened after their meeting.

Really sweet, I loved how you really could understand the characters' feelings and actions, despite it being a one-shot. Too bad for the brother, but I do prefer dark-haired boys xD
