3* The story was pretty stale and although there was so much tension between the two characters (and the art was gorgeous) I feel like there wasn't enough attention given to the main couple. It was a somewhat longer series but based on the theme/plot it should have been much longer, or just cut the second couple out entirely and gave them their own spinoff. So, was kinda disappointed in this one. Was a good one time read tho.

2★ Very cliché and rather boring, doesn't really focus on characters or character development. Beautiful art and high focus on smut, but because we have no attachment to the characters and they pretty much stay the same, it just feels boring and tedious to even try to get through it.

5☆ One of the best historical yaoi's you could possibly read! I'm absolutely dying for more. This story has supernatural, drama, lots of sex, beautiful art, smexy chars good story and most important of all, character growth! I'm fangirling over Jae-shin. Wish I had one of these IRL.

Has beautiful art, and an interesting storyline. Though I’m not terribly happy with the twist of our emperor turning out to be such a crybaby. And the crown prince was so handsome before he was reincarnated, someone told me that he gets body back, fingers crossed. His new body is so ugly and childish looking. I don’t see how anyone including the emperor could find him attractive. But I do love his personality. Will follow this for now, I’m interested to see where it goes!

I read this along time ago, one of the first one shots I’ve ever read. Not sure what I saw in it, although the art is pretty, it lacks depth, it moves a little too quickly. Does our uke not realize he’s in prison and has been raped? it’s like, he doesn’t even acknowledge it. Wtf???
