OUROBOROS:ウロボロス
4 ⭑ This was an amazing story and hauntingly realistic, NOT a fluffy feel good romance but a story depicting our protagonist suffering from trauma of being kidnapped and sexually assaulted by someone he trusted. We see and learn how his experience changes his day to day life, how he views people, himself and the world around him. He becomes a prisoner in his own mind, tragically forced to relive his nightmare again and again, the only way he’s found to numb the pain is by sleeping with partners, he puts himself in dangerous situations as his lack of self esteem and pain effect him. This wasn’t just a story, it was art. The author did an amazing job conveying the complex emotions one feels and experiences when dealing with trauma. I would have rated 5 ⭑ if it hadn’t been for that short ass ending. After reading this detailed story and it ending so suddenly (good ending regardless) it left so many unanswered questions and was just really unsatisfying. I still would recommend this read AS LONG as you’re in the right headspace, it is quite dark, sad and it can get you depressed if you’re not prepared.
