Our main character has an abusive father and the story follows how he handles the situation emotionally and psychologically, it also shows how the system can fail such children in these situations. How inspiring it is to see him find people outside of his home who genuinely care for him, are there for him the best they can be, reassuring him he’s not alone and there is hope. Friends are important, and this story beautifully shows how support from the people around you can give you strength and courage to deal with the tragedy that comes your way. The art is gorgeous, the story is amazing and the speed, character death and growth is perfect. Well done author!
