Mukuchi Na Koi No Tsutaekata
Complete | yamato nase | 2008 released
In many ways this is the platonic ideal of a certain kind of BL plot: rich family takes in young orphan, son falls in love with the hardworking tsundere. Yamasaki is my favourite tsundere because the mangaka got the perfect balance of that over-the-top reluctance which evolves into a gradual softening and acceptance to the point where the tsundere take the initiative in crucial moments. The cast of supporting characters was the perfect mix of support, gentle teasing, and incisive critique. The seme never wavered. I expected this to be a dated, corny read but discovered something like a gem instead. Recommended.
