Review: Most stories romanticize the yakuza lifestyle but this one portrays the reality of it; stances on woman's equality, revolving bedroom doors, correctional violence, drug use, etc. The MC is phenomenal as she goes into everything with eyes wide open, accepts it, but doesn't try to make excuses for bad behavior. That said the romance is lacking but I prefer it over white knight washing. This is an instant favorite. 9/10

Suddenly Became a Princess One Day
LITERALLY SO HEARTWARMING AND CUTE. the conflict discussion part gets a bit drawn out because the author ruminates a lot on figuring out what to do but the relationship between father and daughter is brilliant. And the discourse on loss-emotions, family-hatred is quite well handled. Nothing earth shattering or tear jerking, but my brilliant boi Claude grew so much and healed so much, I literally want only the best for my darling boy. And they're all specimens of perfect creation :') overall 9/10 for pacing and 8.9/10 for plot because it's extremely predictable, but 10/10 for historical setting, themes discourse, genuineness, and beauty BUT........ AUTHOR LEFT LOVE TRIANGLE OPEN AND UNDECIDED *** Chpt 102, 114 &122
