Stanning 101
This story is cute and pretty engaging but if you want to enjoy it you'll have to ignore all the plot holes and welcome all the facts that are given for granted without any explanation. It can be worth reading if you want the feels, not so much if you're interested in a well written supernatural setting. It's not a short story but it never gets boring and the pacing keeps your attention pretty high and the angsty and sad parts were interesting too. If I were to point out what is keeping this from being a fave of mine I'd say the first 20-25 chapters are a bit weak and I could tell the author adjusted some things later on in the story (like with Jay's character I think it was weird how suddenly he changed personality) and I think the two stories were a bit too disconnected, to the point that it would have probably been better to develop the second couple's story as a separate, indipendent and longer story of it's own. Also there were so many cringy scenes...especially when the bias thing was mentioned it felt like I was reading a wattpad story or something...when Juno struggles because mc isn't giving him a chance and goes "because Jay was his bias all along" plsss sir noooo
Akuma To Keiyaku (haru)
Every character was likeable/interesting except for the protagonists. The mc is the most stereotyped uke I've ever seen, the ml on the other hand is even less interesting than a stereotyped seme cause he doesn't even get a redemption arc after hurting the uke TWICE and his whole personality consist in him being a possessive jerk and a sex maniac. People in the comments call this cute and the only couple-like thing they do is sleep with eachother. I honestly can't remember them having an actual conversation and this manga has 2 volumes...
Oshi ni ha Zettai Hodasaernai
It's not the best thing I've ever read but I gotta admit I misjudged it when I saw the tags. I thought the ml was gonna be your typical asshole, pushy, seme who teases the pure-hearted mc and leads him on without actually caring about his feelings (with rape probably involved), but the story was actually pretty wholesome with little to no drama and just a couple of misunderstandings. The seme is not an asshole, and even though he definitely likes teasing Yuki it's clear that he cares for him and wants to treat him good
Run Way no Yukue wo Shiritaika
This story is cute in the weirdest way possibile. Like at first I thought it was gonna revolve around them having sex for the first time (maybe with some kind of twist with Akira being not so clueless as he seems) but surprisingly that never was a big theme in the story. Then I thought they were gonna fight for the fact that the seme was gaining fame and had to hide their relationship, but there were only wholesome moments instead. Then again I thought there was gonna be some drama cuz Akira didn't know shit about his bf after knowing him for 4 years and forgot his birthday (which was honestly a bit sad) and again, nothing happened! No fighting, no drama, he didn't even get angry. At the end too, the whole thing with the seme not knowing what to do with his life was pretty unexpected and came out of nowhere, it was super cute tho. So like maybe I get the feeling the author didn't really know where to go with this story and the end result is kinda all over the place but I can appreciate the wholesomeness and the fact it never followed some boring trope or stereotyped dynamic. Akira's character is probably the strangest here, he's innocent and very very clueless, knows nothing about how an intimate relationship works, he's very blunt and straightforward and even a bit rude sometimes but also has those childish behaviours and has the emotional intelligence of a baby. I like him but I don't understand him in the slightest and I don't get how someone like the mc can be so helplessly in love with him.
