Stopped at Chapter 23 (2023) COMPLETED @4-19-2025 The ending was real meh, there are indeed a lot of plot holes and as you may see it feels very rushed but here are some of my thoughts: - Sera or Serin is the most pivotal character, not only that everything started in her perspective but it is also her decisions that complicated things, if we are finding the "real culprit" I think she will be identified as an accessory to murder because in the end it's the guy (ex-bf) who killed himself. She let herself swallowed in this dark world, just to justify or protect this guilt that she is feeling. She definitely two-timed tho, I feel so bad to that ded-bf, that kind of betrayal, FUCK! But I can't help to feel for Serin, because in the end if she just didn't love a guy who just wanted pleasure maybe—things would be a lot different. I can also assert that I feel like she never truly loved the ded-bf, what she loved was the security and the love he gave her, but as himself, she never sees him that way because in her heart, she knows and she's guilty of the fact that she loved and continue to be within Lee Hyun's arms. That is why, knowing that whole truth crushed everything that in the end you can say that she blamed herself and that she's exhausted, THAT SHE WANTED TO JUST RAN AWAY AND BE SOMEONE, TO BE LOVED AND LIVE A SIMPLE HAPPY LIFE. - For me the ded-bf is very pitiful, to be betrayed by your own brother and girlfriend. To know that the person you looked up to wasn't that REAL him. To be crushed by the truth, honestly him killing himself is his form of revenge, he wanted them to remember him, to remember that he died that's why even though he's dead, he still lingers and his presence is what made or triggered everything. - Lee Hyun is a fcking btch! LIKE?! KUNG AYAW MO PAPA SIYANG MAGING SA IBA THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE TAKEN CARE OF HER! But in the end I also think that he never truly loved Sera. She was young, hopeful, and the idea of her love is very tempting. His attraction to her might first be out of love but it turned to be just sexual attraction. HE LOVES FCKING HER, and that was it, he didn't care if may matapalan siyang ibang tao. Ang gusto niya lang ay makuha ang gusto niyo. I still feel that he tricked her into all of the revenge thing, cuz' he truly cares he would have done everything to not let her ruin herself just to prove a thing that he knows, he knows na he is also at fault. - Yi Hwan and that Pianist guy are bit of assholes but life made them to be one honestly. Although out of all of that they are the LEAST to be really involved by ded-bf's death which is funny because of how much they are depicted as "murderers" in the first chapters. They did drugs, yes, prostitution, yes, but they never really forced it. As a matter of fact I feel like they are also broken that's why they can relate to each other although their ambitions and greediness is what made them not really good people. But it's not really about morality in the end. The pianist guy is literally GROOMED by that lola like All in all this was just my interpretation of the story, my perspective might not be that same of the others but in the end it was pretty good even so it was rushed and lacking, the seemingly open ending breeds questions and confusion which is actually quite interesting if put into perspective that "even after all, it will still be a cycle of deception, betrayal and scorned love they glorify.
