The art is really beautiful. This piece has a really interesting tone—I'm definitely going to follow this series.

I can't believe that a manga about baseball could be this good! I love this mangaka——their art is so expressive, and the strategy in their works is always clever and easy to follow. I really liked Liar Game, and this series was even better! I'm much more invested in the characters and overall plot in this series. BTW: some of the chapters are missing (chapters 35-81), b/c the scanlation team skipped them since the events in them are covered by the anime. You can watch episodes 9-25 of the anime to fill in the gap! (they're on youtube)

At this point the translation is no longer comprehensible. It's a shame, the beginning of the series was so gripping.

4/5 One of the main characters is a Trans man. His struggle is depicted in a way that rings true, but the series features a LOT of fetishized shots of his body. it's the kind of story you'll want to read in one or two sittings—pretty good
