MC is the heir to a Yakuza group but is also an omega and according to gang law only alphas can be Yakuza heads so the current head is making him go on marriage interviews to find a mate. His right hand man is a beta named Makoto who he found as an orphan as a child and took in. During one of the marriage interviews, the alpha drugs MC with a heat inducer drug. MC is saved by a mysterious alpha who MC recognizes as his fated mate by scent. It turns out I was Makoto who was secretly an alpha all along. - I thoroughly enjoyed this story and like all the main characters. I just really wish it was longer. The end seemed kind of abrupt.

Sejun lost his mother in a car accident that also permanently disabled his father when he was young. So nice then he has been raised by his uncle who shows clear favoritism toward his selfish brat of a son. Now an adult, Sejun is working as his cousin's (who decided he wants to be an actor), manager. His cousin is a shit actor and Sejun is guilted into sleeping with executives by his uncle and cousin to get his cousin parts in productions. Sejun also suffers from a alpha pheromone rejection condition that makes sex with alphas harmful. This is how he meets Taeheon, an alpha, and immediately goes into heat, but Taeheon'd pheromones don't harm him. In fact he has never felt better. ---- I read this story bit by bit as it came back out and, though I can remember the basic story beats, I can't remember most of the story and I don't care. So I guess the story wasn't that exciting to me.
