Isaac always wanted a simple life but after his father dies his step father forces him into special ops military. After several years under his step Dad's thumb, he sent on a mission to kill an arms dealer, Felix. During the mission Issac, who always though he was a beta, presents as an omega for the first time by going into heat. While in this state, dominant alpha Felix encounters Isaac and goes into rut. They have lots of sex and Felix knots Isaac. The next morning, when Isaac wakes up, he can't bring himself to fulfill his mission and kill Felix so he ties him up, cuts him, and breaks his arm then runs away. After failing such an important mission, Isaac runs away from his step dad and the military and goes into hiding. After a while Isaac finds out he is pregnant and in desperation he finds his estranged mother to help him hide him and his son, Benjamin. After four years Isaac is living his supposed dream life as a simple florist but because he is in hiding he can't spend time with his child or live with him, instead most of his interactions with Benjamin are through post cards. One day Felix comes into Isaac's shop but he doesn't remember he is the omega from four years ago just that he is powerfully drawn to him. He sees Isaac writing to "Benjamin", he assumes it's a lover and keeps coming back to the flower shop to win over Isaac. Isaac needs Felix to help protect him from his step dad. They enter into a contract that Isaac will have sex with Felix in exchange for him protecting Benjamin and his mom. -- I really liked this story. I liked that Felix is so dense about Isaac obviously being the omega that attacked him and Benjamin being his son even when he looks identical to him.
For My Weirdo
Working at a ski resort to pay off his debts, Yu-wol's hand was hurt accidentally when an unfamiliar man approached him one day. While Yu-wol's wrist is being bandaged, multiple cut scars become visible. Kwon Yu-wol realizes the man knows him somehow, and that he plays the cello. The obviously wealthy man says he likes Yu-wol and wants to take care of him. Returning home, Yu-wol meets with his loan shark who takes his payment from him physically... ---There are some things that left an impression for me in this webtoon. First of all is the self-farm aspect. How it starts with small things and then develops into psychological scenes filled with depression, anxiety etc. It was nicely executed. Another one was that the author managed to make us feel sadness for the debt collector which is hard to pull off. When you're representing a story with a villain, it's hard to make the readers feel sorry for the villain. There were a few chapters in the second season (after the uke got amnesia) that successfully pulled that off. While the story line was nice that led the uke to the same, the start of the story where the seme out of the blue goes to him and tells him he likes him feels off. I know it's explained towards the last chapters of the second season, and it covers the seme's story but it feels off for the uke's side of story. Other than that, this was a good read.
Stranger
Kim Jiho earns a living by pickpocketing on the street. One day, he leaves the facility that he's living in after being physically assaulted by the owner. While on the street, roaming endlessly with no place to go, he sits down hopelessly in front of a car and thinks. "If I were to be hit and killed here, it'd be good if the car was expensive." With such thoughts, an expensive car stops before him, and a man in it asks, "Do you want to hop in? If you don't have anywhere to go." Kim Jiho, who believes that even goodwill has a price, is determined and follows the man. But the man doesn't ask for anything after taking in Kim Jiho. --- This was pretty good for most of the story but I lost interest towards the end. Still finished it though.
