what a painful and beautiful story. The historical time has never really been my kind of interest, but the setting gave some of the scenes a very special meaning and I really appreciate the author's way conveying the two characters feelings for each other and giving one of the character time to reflect his feeling, instead of jumping on each other dick immediately.

Honestly, I don't know why it has such a high rate. The story was not interesting and the uke and seme's relationship was very awkward and forced. Everything was rushed and the characters made the story somehow uncomfortable for me to read. Not because it was showing anything inappropriate, but just watching their stupid behavior and thoughts make me want to cringe and end my life lol. So that's the reason for my low rating. I would NOT READ IT AGAIN. It could have so much potential but ended up as a fiasco in my book.
