When his mother dies in a sudden accident on a honeymoon after her remarriage, the destitute host, Tatsumi, has no idea that her new husband had been the oyabun of a yakuza gang. But while Tatsumi continues to refuse to accept his inheritance, the new leader of the gang, and Tatsumi's step-brother, Yoshimune, appears. He welcomes Tatsumi into the family by force. Gradually, while living with Yoshimune who won't leave him alone for some reason, Tatsumi starts to have feelings for him as well.

Ch. 1-6 Pg. 1-144: Dr. Uzuki, who works at a university teaching hospital, comes across in an alley and saves the Yakuza member Nonami after he's been shot. The next day, when Nonami shows up at the hospital, Uzuki is scared that he's come to make sure of his silence after he's seen the gunshot wound. But actually, Nonami, who misheard Uzuki's name and has mistaken him for a woman named "Suzuki", has forced a younger yakuza brother into being admitted into the hospital and order to find this woman, and they've started to search for this 'Suzuki'. Ch. 1-6 Pg. 145-185: A guy recalls a neighborhood 16 years younger than him that he used to hang out with and tutored before finding out when the kid moved that the kid was actually smart and even forcefully kissed him the day before he left for overseas.
