Businessman Yaotomi Eiju lives a charmed life, having been blessed with uncommon luck ever since he was young. But one day all his good luck vanishes as if it had never existed, and misfortune starts to dog his every step. Heeding the advice of those around him, Yaotomi makes a trip to pay bumbling respects to a Jizo on the way home from work. “Surely this will help somehow,” he thinks as he heads home. When he arrives, he finds a strange man there who announces, “I am a god of misfortune,”—?! And so, with a little coercion, these two men begin to live together…
