There was rape! And the MC brushed it off even though he was brutally raped till he had bruises and bedridden for an entire day! Also, how things just worked out for everyone was just too much of a fantasy. There I'd no way the relationship between former slaves and high born, especially the emperor!, would be just frown upon. Also, Dev's mother and sister both died is just lazy writing. How could both have died? Weren't they suppose to be precious merchandise?? Anyway, plot holes galore. And the characters were bland despite dramatic tragic backstory. But the art was beautiful.

Dub-con at beginning, but sort of expected in Emperor x servant setting. Overall, it's a cute ligh-hearted story. Art is beautiful. Some good smut.

A delightful read. Just wished there wasn't a sexual assault at the beginning. The plot didn't require it.

An intriguing tale. I feel really bad for MC. He went thru hell in his 1st life. The emperor was an absolute tyrant, who tortured the one he claimed to love. I despised him so much. He wasn't much better in his 2nd life. Indiscriminately killed innocent girls he slept with. What's with that. He changed after meeting MC again, but his past crime was unforgivable. Also, why is he so horrible to his small son? Luckily for him MC was soft hearted. They ended up being very sweet to eachother, but it's unrealistic given the pain, hatred, resentment MC endured and the emperor still being an absolute tyrant. Would've been better if they'd both died together and starts fresh in their next lives.

Beautiful art. Plot could be better developed. They've lost 3 yrs together for no valid reason. Not a bad read though.

Ch.56: Idris is unrealistically powerful. Ch. 49: So hot and sexy! Art amazing. All characters look beautiful. Engaging plot! Crown prince is the worst! What a monster!! But he's so pretty. But he's a MONSTER!!!

Felt light even though it touched on heavy subject. Not angsty. Very unrealistic plot, but oh well.
