Edit: Feeling incredibly conflicted. News about the author has come out and it isn't great. Nothing to unusual for a manga a in all honesty but I built my hopes up thinking someone who's capable of creating Blue Period can't also create some really morally-skewed and damning work at the same time. Blue Period means so much to me, I will continue reading but I can see why people have stopped. I also feel very betrayed and hurt even though I don't know the slightest thing about the mangaka.
My top manga reccomendation of ALL TIME!
I've never been so entranced by a manga before this one. Every chapter, every volume and every panel leaves me a bit more breathless than before. The story it tells feels so real and tangible--realistic struggles, people and issues! plot and art are both so stunning!
