Until I Meet My Husband
Based on an essay written by a Japanese Gay activist, this explores the reality of what it’s like to be gay in Japan. Very realistic but sweet. There is an SA scene but it’s brief and has a purpose. Please give it a shot.
Diamond no Ace Act 2
Ending felt ridiculously rushed but unfortunately I doubt there will even be an Act III considering 1. The author has been doing this for 16 years and is tired. Drawing and writing is already hard but to do so for a sports manga is even harder since it’s a lot of details and muscles to draw and games to plan out. You can’t just create one character but you need a whole team's worth. You can’t blame anyone for getting tired from writing something this challenging. 2. Miyuki, Kuramochi, and the third years are one of the most beloved characters and kind of the core of this manga. Without them, many will lose interest and the story won’t just be the same. 3. The first years now are weaker characters (not in terms of skill but rather personality.) I would’ve loved to see the angry pitcher from Hokkaido pop a vein bc of Sawamura but it can’t be helped. I wish we would get a epilogue with a time skip at least.
