83. This one is a good manhwa overall but it’s not without faults. It starts off light and fluffy with an interesting set-up and world building. However it lacks explanations sometimes. The pacing was okay in the first season but sometimes you’re left wondering why something is happening because there’s no reason for it to happen. Like certain characters have been there for a while but we don’t know what they’re like because screen time is undivided and the pacing is rushed. Especially towards the end where a bunch of things are happening but MC and the other characters haven’t quite shown the audience what they feel about it—they’re just doing things. Another thing is this gets steamy out of nowhere and for no reason, I get that the artist wants to draw kiss scenes and what not but at least build into it. Don’t give a steamy kiss scene bc of some kebab or forced magic. One of the original reasons why I liked the first season was because I liked the MC. She wasn’t physically strong or smart but she’s skilled and she’s funny; she had a personality. But as the story progressed, I had to take off the strong female lead tag because she’s always being protected, kissed and letting things happen, and not exactly showing her personality. It’s bland and rushed now. It’s sad because the first season was great and this manhwa has a good plot too but instead of getting better, it gets worse. This will probably stay 3/5 even when completed.
