Regressor instructional manual
50. This is gold. Similar to ORV and TCF except MC is an actual scumbag and this is more harem than romance. But I find myself not minding bc the women act like karma for MCs manipulation. MC is enjoyable to watch bc he’s not OP and actually has a personality.
How to Get My Husband on My Side
65. This one is a great series. It has a lot of dark themes and history behind it. But it covers it up with really decent humor and nice romantic moments. However, it does get annoying when the FL keeps making a fool out of herself because from an outside perspective, she would seem like a mess. All she ever does is act like she’s a crazy fan and then falls and gets hurt. The amount of misunderstandings in like the first half is ridiculous. But the series is good because it fixes what Under the Oak Tree’s garbage fails. The ML is the way he is because of his trauma and he tries his best to fix his mistakes. FL is also extremely traumatized, but she is also working on her issues and while doing so she’s building relationships with people. I just wish that the revenge portion would come sooner because it feels like no one is on the FL side and without clumsy she is it just feels really annoying after a while. I think there is some character development in the ML and the FL and hope author doubles down on it next season.
The World’S Best Engineer
73 chapters in. Similar plot to Trash of the Count Family, except MC here uses his skills and talent from his past life to enhance life. The plot and characterization here is better than TCF, but it is sometimes lacking in art. But the comedy and the MC’s personality makes this very engaging to read.
Survive Romance
Refreshing take on the reincarnation trope, not romance but more friendship. I love the art style and how despite the violence it stays elegant. MC is actually strong and engaging. The mystery is great. I can’t wait for the next part.
Oresama Teacher
One of the best comedies I’ve read. It’s illogical and makes no sense but you’re left laughing for hours. The romance is crap though—mangaka has a thing for literal children growing up to like adults and it’s pretty weird. Even the two couples that were around the same age were pretty bad and cringe. I am glad that the romance didn’t happen in the manga since Mafuyu was still underaged and a student. The plot is pretty crap too, nothing too fancy or logical. It’s boring. Art is typical old shoujo art. It gets hard telling apart all the guys with black hair if they don’t appear often. You really have to pay attention to every person if you wanna know what’s happening. I had trouble reading and it was my second time reading the whole thing. But it’s still a good read because of the comedy.
