Interesting plot, lovable characters, hate the romance subplot though. Wish they would’ve tagged it so I could’ve avoided the story. I find the romance to be forced and boring.

7. Really fast paced, the characters are pretty but the backgrounds and other art elements are CGI/not cute, and MC isn’t a doormat but she is annoying. I think she’s more likable than some of the other MCs in this genre but she’s also annoying. The only reason her constant pestering is accepted is bc the Duke is cursed and she is the FL. If she was a side character, everyone would’ve said she’s annoying or deserves to die. The story is extremely generic with nothing new.

1-2. Yeah, it’s a huge no. Weak ass MC who let’s people shit on her, bland ML with nothing but his face, art isn’t great, and the plot is the usual “bad characters do shit and plot armor saves the day.” Even the premise is stupid. How do you fuck up an overdone trope…

10. The plot is hero falls in love with the loli demon queen and keeps her hostage. Or more like grown ass man kidnaps elementary school aged girl and sexualizes her to his liking. The demon queen doesn’t even have a personality and even if she actually likes this(which she doesn’t), it’s still kind of grooming. At first it was cute but then it gets a little creepy for me. Demon queen looks like a literal child and acts like one too, hero is a creep who kidnapped her and suggests weird shit to her, and that’s their dynamic. Short chapters with no plot but it still managed to rub me the wrong way.

12. Conceptually it’s cool but execution is poor. Art was fine but that one picture of a real horse made me laugh like hell. Creator feels amateur like. Explanations are too complicated for people without a background in management, other than characters interacting about finance it’s stiff and boring. Like I get it’s mercenary custom to fight for the life when honor is tainted but that was attempt in murder and all the characters felt so stiff. I find myself not caring about anyone particularly which is a pity because this could’ve been a light hearted and informational manhwa but instead we got this mess. Another major plot hole is if the place MC traveled to is a world where you fight for your honor and people don’t have enough financial literacy then why in the world would they hire her or believe her if they weren’t naive? Complex mathematics and understanding of a whole new world system is difficult to understand and adjust to but if MC is that much of a genius then more people would be distrustful of her. And if the counter to that is “MC is just advising” then why did that one guy come for her life like his group leader didn’t agree with her. It doesn’t make any sense and pacing and everything kind of sucks. Dropped.

This isn’t good romance. Astina is too stuck up in the past to live in the present and Theo just likes her because she can save him. Other than that, there isn’t much going on in terms of their interactions or love. It’s hard to guess why they’re in love when Astina still has PTSD and clearly isn’t over her past lover. Even with the spoilers, it feels like this manhwa won’t get a higher rating because the actual plot itself is bland. This is sad because the art is fantastic and honestly the writing execution isn’t too terrible. A lot of this manhwa could’ve been expressed through the art since the main characters aren’t shy of touching but even that becomes a waste of opportunity since a lot of the close up shots are meaningless. I feel like the authors needs to read some Jane Austen and get into expressing a lot of romance and chemistry without saying everything. This isn’t a bad manhwa and Astina is actually one of the stronger female leads of this genre but it is a bit disappointing.
