ML is really pushy. The way they talk about women is always so gross but it’s Japan so it’s expected. This is a maybe.

Actually consensual despite the context with a chaebol ‘buying’ a guy for sex. However, plot itself is messy and oddly fast paced. Not bad tho.

This author always writes strong stories with badass characters, not the usual weak ukes. I love this pairing more than the cat witch and her familiar bc this pairing has TENSION. Their personalities are so opposite, they are magnetic. The fact that he’s the dog witch which implies his familiar is going to be the most loyal despite how both of their personalities are nonchalant??? It’s everything.

TW: Flashbacks of domestic abuse, child abuse, homophobia, and internalized homophobia. Some moments here give me second hand embarrassment but it's still very well written. Even side characters are likable despite doing trashy things, art is light and cute, characters have a tough background but they all work towards changing for the better.

Although the art is ridiculously good, plot is fast paced where you can’t connect to any of the characters despite having seemingly good writing for both. Chapter 1 is noncon since MC was drunk and didn’t explicitly say yes and even later refers to the ML as the “guy who r*ped him.” Though this is brushed off later on for the sake of the plot. They could’ve kept it consensual and actually included moments between the characters.

17. This is actually so good. The art is nice which is rare for this author, the art improved a lot, and plot isn’t bad.
