this was just so beautiful. it was well written and the storytelling was very nice. i wouldn't say that this kind of plot is rare per se— however, the way the plot, the pacing, the story and even the art in this was just well executed and so unique than the ones i encountered before makes it so much more interesting. it's both sad and happy at the same time so i would say this was really bittersweet. i felt sad bc of their past selves but also happy for them since they finally were able to have the ending that they deserved. also, what i really found incredible in this is how iori was able to separate their past and present lives and was able to live anew while also still appreciating their past selves... i just really loved this, even the poems were so good. the twists and turns, and just—everything. this was such a masterpiece to read. i am literally in awe with how the author delivers their stories in such an incredible manner. :')
