Stigmata - Aikon

Complete | TAKAHASHI Hidebu | 2019 released

ahh this still has such an interesting plot! it's something new and unique for me which really hooked me up instantly. it's nice to see their backstory and learn more about them this time. the story went on very smoothly and i did think that everything was done really well— the plot, the storytelling, the pacing, and the developments. everything was just right! i was also surprised when he openly discussed his sexual orientation after falling in love with a man for the first time bc usually it goes through the "i'm straight but i am in love with " route so this was really nice! not to mention the consent from both parties, as well as the preparation before the yk. it's like a breath of fresh air like aaaa i really enjoyed this <3 !!

Stigmata - Seikon Sousa

Complete | TAKAHASHI Hidebu | 2014 released

i accidentally read the sequel first but eh, it's alright >< ok, this... this one was a lot more gruesome and serious than the sequel since it revolves around more cases of deaths. it was shocking but also, intriguing. you get it? haha but yeah, i don't know what to say more but this shows how they actually work to solve the cases. moreover, it's actually nice to see how the author didn't make this into a bl but they portrayed that they in fact have some intimacy in between them which was later seen in the sequel!
