Revival Blue

Complete | itz | 2018 released

ahh this feels nostalgic for some reason. it was that kind of summer love that is just really beautiful and healing <3... though, i did feel bad for akiyoshi :/ i wish there had been a chapter for him getting the help and support he clearly needs since he was going through such extremes. i think he sincerely needs therapy or even like a heart to heart talk with minato after what happened at the beach... regardless, this was really !!!! beautiful !!!! minato and naoki's love was really pure and tender and i'm glad they were able to finally be with each other just as they deserved :)

See you later, Mermaid

Complete | HAYANE Dento | 2019 released

this was ... beautiful. i started this with a lot of questions, but as the story goes on, they were eventually given answers. i am absolutely in awe with the plot and how it was written. having a one and only secret and your one and only childhood friend knowing about it, and everything just started, happened, and concluded through it. this was just very unique and is both heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time :') i love the use of magical realism in this! such a great way of storytelling which was just so mesmerizing to read. definitely one of my best reads! reread: 230201, i forgot how much this made me feel... i am still so deeply overwhelmed by the beauty that is this story <3

Born to Love you

Complete | HAYANE Dento | 2000 released

this was just so beautiful. it was well written and the storytelling was very nice. i wouldn't say that this kind of plot is rare per se— however, the way the plot, the pacing, the story and even the art in this was just well executed and so unique than the ones i encountered before makes it so much more interesting. it's both sad and happy at the same time so i would say this was really bittersweet. i felt sad bc of their past selves but also happy for them since they finally were able to have the ending that they deserved. also, what i really found incredible in this is how iori was able to separate their past and present lives and was able to live anew while also still appreciating their past selves... i just really loved this, even the poems were so good. the twists and turns, and just—everything. this was such a masterpiece to read. i am literally in awe with how the author delivers their stories in such an incredible manner. :') reread: 230129

Sore Wa Tabun Itoshii Tte Koto

Complete | minaduki yuu | 2014 released

i loved how this emphasized adulting and how people go through all these difficulties in life but we'll still be able to overcome them in time. also, it normalized how running away isn't necessarily bad sometimes when you think it'll be for your own good which i actually needed to hear rn, yk? i also particularly enjoyed how communication is very abundant in this. this was very mature, realistic and well written.

Gozou Roppu no Koi

Complete | Torime | 2000 released

ahhh this was such a sweet story :( it's the one that will both make you feel kilig and also learn a lot of life lessons that you can apply irl, yk? i also think this could've been explored more bc i know there could still be more to this aha... nonetheless, this was such a nice read and i'm glad they found each other, yk? v v wholesome :')

this was just so wholesome and mature! i really liked how realistic this was and how (won't say much) the mc comes into terms with everything and slowly opens up. i also liked how poetic this is, it gives me a nostalgic feeling and i don't know why? haha but yeah, i loved both couple so much and takatsuki definitely has a special place in my heart. indeed, love is love. <3

Sono Suki Honto

Complete | TAKI Nekoze | 2019 released

gahhhh the push and pull ;-; so sad they had to go through so much bc of their own mistakes but i'm glad they were FINALLY finally able to get the ending that they deserve. unrequited love stories like this really makes my heart feel So Much! the angst really made the conclusion bring more emotions to the readers if i do say so myself. really enjoyed it! reread: 220805

the lines: "you changed me." "that's not right, perhaps it was only an opportunity for you to find yourself. / that's why i was holding back my love for you. if you're not able to love yourself, you cannot love anyone else. you came to love me... thank you." really resonated with me. i'm really glad haruhi found someone who'll help him learn how to love himself bc you can never really love someone else when you're not even satisfied with yourself, yk? i would have loved it if some things were delved onto more especially what they did to That one mf and also i really wanted to have katsuki know what haruhi feels for him, yk? cuz his twin brother really was such a huge insecurity to him until he met masahiro and i wanted to see them truly reconcile... but yeah, this was pretty good! i also loved the last lines at the end of chapter 5: "i realized that there are many things that will not be conveyed unless you voice them. everyone's heart and body are separate and unique, so, i am, the one and only." i think we should really take this to heart bc we all have our own personas. we're all different in our own ways. and it will be best if we truly try to speak what's in our minds no matter how difficult it'll be. :)

Bokura no Shokutaku

Complete | Mita Ori | 2000 released

AHHHH this was so heartwarming!! it made me so emotional like it just has all the elements that i want in this kind of trope. this particular line "loving someone is also about carrying the pain of losing them." really moved me. this one just has all the feels, i love them so much (++ the timeskip made me more T^T) <3
