starting this review by saying i liked seol gido right off the bat. it was sad how he and juhyeok did not end up together but i also think their story is very real. they know they had mutual feelings for each other but they did not act on it bc they were both scared. it's really sad when you think of it like that bc of the missed opportunities but i still liked how their story progressed as bestfriends. moving on to sihyeon… wow, it’s honestly very refreshing to see alphas in this kind of manhwa portrayed so well. he wasn’t toxic at all, he respects juhyeok’s boundaries, and he truly liked him for who he is and not for his subgender. it’s been a while since i’ve last read a manhwa so this being the story i read as my “comeback” was definitely a good decision >< i also liked how the dilemma with “being normal” was discussed. you can see how juhyeok has been thinking about it all his life but the way both gido and sihyeon explained what they think of it were written so well. everyone thinks differently and everyone deserves to live their life however they want to regardless of their gender. overall, this was a really nice read. though one thing i didn’t like that much was the side couple. i feel so bad for mr. lee and what he was put through by that scumbag... but i also understand that forgiving him was still a good decision to do because with that, he can truly move forward without dwelling on the past any longer. i read this in one sitting so wow, i was definitely hooked with the story :') and fuck seo heetae!
