“there’s a difference between a detour and the end destination.” lmao, get rekt ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Sore Wa Tabun Itoshii Tte Koto
i loved how this emphasized adulting and how people go through all these difficulties in life but we'll still be able to overcome them in time. also, it normalized how running away isn't necessarily bad sometimes when you think it'll be for your own good which i actually needed to hear rn, yk? i also particularly enjoyed how communication is very abundant in this. this was very mature, realistic and well written.
Hana wo Tadoreba Kimi no Yubisaki
ahhhh this was just bittersweet. again, not in a bad way, it's more of the 'aw, this is such a painfully beautiful love' kind of feeling, yk? but yeah, i don't wanna spoil much but the plot was actually really good. this type of trope can really be both heart-wrenching and heartwarming at the same time so i kind of expected this to go through the same route... it's such a sweet story and i'm so glad they found each other after everything :'( it has all the fluff and emotion with beautiful art and suspense. you definitely won't regret it :') kind of wish there was more tho TT but nonetheless, it was a good read! <3
Ameagari no Bokura ni Tsuite
wow.... i want more, oh my.... this was just an amazing read. i'm gonna try to keep this as short as possible >< ok, first of all, i really felt how realistic this was in every aspects. human emotions we feel— may it be good or bad, positive or negative. platonic and romantic relationships, and even family problems. the author really made sure to delve into different real life topics and experiences most people go through and feel. one of my fav scenes has to be the "don't hold it in" and the dam just finally breaking, it was just a good portrayal of those repressed feelings and i could definitely relate to that. feelings can be hard, yeah, but in order to understand your feelings, you shouldn't hold it in and instead let it out, and really, genuinely feel it... anyways, i'm so glad they found each other again and was able to both grow as individuals, and together. you're not responsible of saving others, but you are responsible of finding and saving your own happiness. remember that. re-read: 230816, still a realistic and very wholesome read :')
Hyperventilation
