soultwins's manga / #Dissociative Identity Disorder(1)

Adam no Rokkotsu

Complete | Michinoku atami | 2019 released

i think this is the first time i'm gonna bookmark a manga from this author?? i've read most of their works but idk why i haven't bookmarked something yet, maybe this one really just left a much deeper impact to me than the others...? >< ok, moving on. first of all, i just really wanna commend the translators for doing such a great job in translating this. i can see that they really took the time to not only "literally translate" this but also, made sure that the readers were actually able to understand everything that's going on. i have a bit of knowledge in DID and i really appreciated how the translators also put notes at the end of every chapters to further explain the disorder. the way the alters integrated were actually depicted in a fictional way since it's not very realistic that each one of them disappeared just like that. the story was also very unique since i haven't read something like this in fiction at all, and i am an avid book reader, yk? (i heard there's a kdrama with the same plot but i'm more of a reader than a watcher so ><) but yeah, this story had me CRYING at literally 1am... i deeply feel for his alters and it really broke me when they had to, yk? since i got a bit attached to the one who pretended to be the host :'( however, i'm also happy for the actual host cuz he really went through a lot :( would've just liked it more if things progressed a bit slower to really emphasize everything, and if the explicit scenes weren't that abundant ?? haha >< nonetheless, great story and v v informative !
