okay first I'm in mourning for jooin's long hair
second this is incredible and i related to jooin a lot, growing up with even mildly controlling parents will fucking break you, especially if you're the creative type. also, the depiction of depression was top-notch?? like people usually think of depression as sadness, but that's not what it is. sometimes you do feel sad, but mostly it's feeling nothing and having no energy. everything you love stops being fun and you desperately crave for it to be fun again but you know the problem is you. you pretend nothing is wrong and smile and laugh but inside you want nothing more than to put rocks in your pockets and get to know a swimming pool. it's not even being sad, it's just a crisp psychological pain that feels like it's squirming under your skin. and the cruelty of depression is that you're aware of all this! you're so keenly, deeply aware... but you're a video playing without wifi and everything is out of focus because the thing that's supposed to drive you just... isn't
