This is probably one of my favorite mangas. The story is so profound, and it hits you right in the gut. It's not about the sex; it's about their connecting thread, and how he affected both of their lives.

That bit about soulmates has always stuck with me.

I think about this manga a lot.

Okay, speakin' as someone who knows some shit about mental illness, that ain't how this works. OCD is treated with medication and CBT, and all I'm seein' is exposure therapy (which works for phobias). Honestly, this guy seems to just have a phobia, not OCD. Plus, you know... It takes time to go through exposure therapy. I will give credit for the list of things, and how they worked their way up to things, but... It would take multiple exposures, not just one. I just... The sex was hot, but the psychologist in me is screaming.

This... I have no words, only the desire for more. It's beautiful. This isn't a story, this is art.

Oh man, fear is my jAM but wow... I can't see how this will have a happy ending, but lord above do I want one.

Yashiro is one of my favorite characters in general because he keeps trying to justify his pain in ways that only hurt him, and is so damn scared of other people caring about him. He's not broken, but he is cracked, and he refuses to try and fix himself before he shatters.

It's extremely interesting, and extremely fucked up, and I just want everyone to be happy! But the big brother is perpetuating the cycle of abuse. I don't think he realizes that his rationalizations are probably similar to those of his father's.

So, high-key this is just an abusive relationship. It's gonna keep going in cycles of nice-abuse-apology until someone either dies or leaves.

Oh man, this is fucked up. He fucking groomed him. And. Then raped him. Oh man I'm having flashbacks to my own abuse. I guess that means it's well-written?
